JUNGLE CAMPING AND WALKING SAFARIS
We offer jungle camps inside protected forest in wildlife zone. Jungle camps help to experience and enjoy wildlife in close quarters. A day inside jungle surrounded by wildlife peeping through the windows and bushes, listening to their alarm and curtsey, walk through the forest to observe the miracles of nature. CAMPING IN CHINNAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY-
Those who want the real adventure of encounter wild elephants on foot; Chinnar is the best safest forest. We offer multiple days walking safari and jungle camps in different ranges of the sanctuary. Wildlife of Chinnar is composed of residents, seasonal migrants and restricted species . Major mammal species are Elephants, gaur, Leopard, wild dogs, potted deer, sambar, barking deer, Macaque , wild boar etc. Grizzled giant squirrel, tufted langur etc are restricted species of South Western Ghats. Drastic altitude variations in a short distance provide high diversity of birds species. The forest is the home for many Deccan endemics and migrants which are unusual in other parts of Kerala, including blue faced malkoha, sirkir malkoha , yellow throated bulbul, grey headed bulbul etc. It is the only natural habitat of starred tortoise in Kerala. It is a heaven for aromatic plants and herbs.
