Declared as a game reserve in 1931 and a protected Tiger reserve in 1973, Bandipur is one of the eqarly Tiger reserve in India. It possesses 880sqkms of forest in Nilgiri Biosphere, and shares flora and fauna with Nagarhole National Park, Muthumalai Tiger Reserve of Tamilanadu and Wayanad Wildlife sanctuary of Kerala. Together with other sanctuaries of Nilgiri Biosphere, this beautiful stretch of biodiversity hotspot holds largest density of Asiatic Tiger, Black panther and Asiatic elephants on earth.We offers tailor made and customized packages to Bandipur . The Tour
The package starts from Cochin. Running time between Cochin and Bandipur is 7hrs considering one hour lunch break. Accommodation will be in category jungle resort. Transfers will be in comfortable car. Safari will be arranged from the resorts in open canter. The accommodation will be in twin share basis. While two nights stay in the resort you will get chances for 5 safaris (optional). Between the morning and evening safari , we will arrange village walk through two ethnic villages aside the Tiger Reserve. The village is characterised by Megaliths, traditional farming and life styles.
